All the cardboard residuals are collected in the little drawer and you can dump it easily. Highly recommend for any young crafter.

My children have enjoyed device immensely. I have 5 children still at home ranging in age from 5 to 17. The 5,8,11, and even 13 year old kids love this. In my house the interest wanes for my 17 year old, but she has move on to bigger toys.

We primarily use this for cardboard for which it works very well. I think we will still use scissors for paper and cloth. The cuts in cardboard are clean. The machine makes very little mess (except for the piles of cardboard scraps from all the projects of course).

The cutter is not rotary, it is a nibbler. This means that the machine can only cut along one line. This took the kids a little to adapt to as the tried simply cut in all directions. However a little practice and they figured it out nicely.

The company produces premade project kits for kids. I personally don't think we will purchase these as my children like to imagine and make things of their own. I could see how we may use these as periodic treats or used to teach new methods.

The machine seems well built. Time will tell how it holds up the the hours of daily use this things is getting in my home.

I would recommend this product if you have kids who love to create and build things from cardboard.

My granddaughter has been using a Beaver bot for a few years. She’s loves her crafting and she has been able to do with of her Bb. Uses it so much this is her 2nd replacement mat over the years.
Great quality and value for money and I’m sure she will use it for years to come, such a safe way of cutting

Directions were not entirely clear but we ended up figuring it out after some experimentation. Very fun!

Nice, easy to use and very light weight

This was a perfect gift for our 10 year old son. He loves creating things out of cardboard. Cuts great, easy to use.

Firm and sturdy pieces , well fitting and good for precision work. Can make many designs from the set, vet good for interactive team involvement and creativity stimulating. It keeps the mind occupied while rewarding with obviously good outcomes from the supplied templates and guides.

It does allow kids to be creative and utilise cardboard boxes that is either going to be disposed or recycled safely and independently.

The operation of the item is very simple through pressing the nose of the beaver which acts as the on/off button for the cutter. The cutter itself is safely covered by the 'hat' and you'd only see a small bit of the blade from the side opening which makes it very hard to accidentally cut yourself. From there you just feed cardboard into it and you can easily direct and pivot to make angles/curves, very similar to using a grown up band saw.

The item also comes with templates that can be used as an introduction to using the machine and the end result is soemthing that is usable too.

Overall this is a very good item, especially for kids who enjoy doing crafts. If you can get this at least at a discounted rate then it is a very good buy that will last a long time.

I had a 6 and 7 year old test it out. They loved it and made some great creations. Acrylic markers are very vibrant on cardboard and they colored all their cut outs.very pleased with the Beaver Bot!
