In the heart of our summer celebration, the Lab has called upon our young creators once again. To bring more magic to the upcoming Wonder Land Performance, children are invited to design characters, wearable parts, and handheld companions that will light up the stage alongside their Free Wings.

 

This is more than a showβ€”it’s a story brought to life by cardboard, color, and imagination.

The Story Behind the Mask

Art days are more than a celebration of color and soundβ€”they’re moments of transformation. 

As the summer light streams in, I often reflect on the fact that children, just like stories, are always in the process of becoming. This idea inspired the creation of the Masque of the Cocoon Breaker Kit.

 

I pictured our young engineers sitting with their cutting tool, surrounded by cardboard and dreams, crafting masks that reflect their inner world. Not just a craft, but a moment of metamorphosis.

🌱 Where the idea hatched

The word 'cocoon' stayed with me. It conjures up an image of a safe, quiet space where change is brewing beneath the surface. I believe that every child is like a butterfly, ready to spread its wings in its own time and in its own way.

 

The mask became a symbol of transformation rather than disguise. When children create personas for themselves, such as brave knights or wise mages, they are not pretending. They’re exploring who they could be. In the process, they begin to break through.

🎭 What’s Next?

As summer comes to an end, our young engineers are preparing for a new kind of mission.

 

Over the next few months, they will need more than just imagination to rebuild Wonder Land; they will also need knowledge, curiosity, and the opportunity to develop their skills. That’s why the Lab is introducing a new back-to-school challenge: creating a Cipher Box to hold their 'rebuilding blueprints', engineering notes, and daily discoveries.
