Who can take part?

Makers of all ages are welcome, subject to the eligibility requirements in the final official rules. A parent or legal guardian must submit on behalf of a minor.

Do I need a BeaverBot to enter?

No. No purchase is necessary, and you do not need to own or use a BeaverBot. The tools you use do not earn extra judging points.

What can I build?

An original, physical Halloween costume or decoration made with at least 50% cardboard. Other materials can add details, decoration, and connections.

Are there any tool restrictions?

Entries and their parts must not be made using laser cutters, vinyl cutters, or 3D printers. Choose age-appropriate tools and have an adult supervise where needed.

What should I submit?

Include a process video, a view of the finished creation in action, clear photos, and a short description of the idea, materials, tools, and helpers. Add the required contact information and signed release. Suggested media lengths and counts are guidance; check the final rules before submitting.

Can we build together?

Family collaboration is encouraged. Tell us who helped and what each maker contributed. Check the final official rules for participant and team entry limits.

When do entries close?

Entries run September 21–November 4, 2026. The deadline is November 4 at 11:59 PM EST (UTC−5). Winners are expected to be announced on or around November 15, 2026.
